And the data backs this up.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-key-findings\"><strong>Key Findings:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Health and wellness (18%), food (17%), and \u2018treat yourself\u2019 (13%) make up nearly half of all stipend spending, reflecting core everyday needs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Caregiving support saw a 300% increase as companies responded to mounting pressure\u2014with childcare costs averaging <a href=\"https:\/\/www.care.com\/about\/press\/annual-care-com-report-reveals-rising-childcare-costs-deplete-the-incomes-and-savings-of-american-families\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">$18,000+ in 2023<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hbs.edu\/managing-the-future-of-work\/Documents\/The_Caring_Company.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">73% of employees<\/a> reporting caregiving responsibilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Despite inflation pressures, employees are actively investing in their well-being, with 71% choosing specialized providers and local vendors over major retailers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quarterly stipends dominate benefit delivery at 66%, showing employees value regular, predictable support.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2025 <a href=\"https:\/\/compt.io\/blog\/global-employee-benefits\/\">employee benefits<\/a> data, analyzed from a full year of transactions, span 65,000+ unique vendors globally, which suggests a clear evolution in benefits strategy. When given flexibility, employees actively invest in their well-being \u2014 from <a href=\"https:\/\/compt.io\/guide\/mental-health-stipends\/\">mental health support<\/a> to <a href=\"https:\/\/compt.io\/guide\/family-stipends-benefits\/\">family care<\/a>.
